About Linda Vernon

Over the last 20 years, I have learned to write words that stand out.

My writing has been plucked from slush piles by busy editors of major newspapers such as the San Jose Mercury news, the San Diego Union Tribune, and the Alameda Newspaper Group newspapers and published on their op-ed pages.

I also won the Bulwer Lytton Fiction Contest (and international humor-writing contest where contestants vie to write the worst beginning sentence to an imaginery novel)). My writing beat out 10,000 entries to win the grand prize and was was featured on CNN, The Today Show and NPR.

I now focus my writing on helping companies and organizations expand the number of new leads and customers they generate each month to make more sales with persuasive, powerful words that sell.
